E Learning Creations, Inc. (“ELC”), the provider of the
QuizStar software and service (“QuizStar”), is committed
to the privacy of information provided by its users.
The following privacy statement describes ELC’s information
gathering and dissemination practices with respect to QuizStar.
QuizStar postings and usage data will not be sold, traded,
or disseminated to other entities without the consent of the
provider of that information. ELC reserves the right to
monitor quiz postings and collect data on usage patterns
for the purpose of product improvement.
Student users of Quiz Star must provide their name and user
name in order to register and use Quiz Star. This student
information will be accessible by registered instructors.
Instructor personal information that will be available on
QuizStar includes the instructor’s name, email address, zip code,
institution name, and course name(s). This information will be
available to all users of Quiz Star. ELC recommends that
QuizStar users (both student and instructor) not provide any
other personal information in their postings on QuizStar.
Except as described above, information on QuizStar will not
be sold, traded, or disseminated to other entities without
the consent of the provider of the information.
Quizzes not designated as private will be available to other
users of the Site. In a shared hosting application, other
users of the Site would include all other parties with QuizStar access.
Internet cookies are utilized on the QuizStar web site to
authorize access to QuizStar and to track a user’s location.
No information is extracted from a user’s computer unless it
relates directly to the use of the QuizStar web site.
New versions of this Privacy Policy may be posted on this web
site, so please check back periodically for updates. If you have
